Our next steps are designed to help you understand where you are now and how you can continue to grow. We are also here to connect with and support you through prayer. Baptism
Baptism is a visible symbol of God’s saving work within a person. It is the outward sign of belonging to the people of God—those who have repented and put their faith in Jesus Christ. When a believer is immersed below the surface into the water, it portrays to observers that Christ died and was buried. As the person is raised up out of the water, it symbolizes the resurrection of Christ. (I Corinthians 15:3-4)
Salvation
Salvation means being rescued by God from the consequences of sin. God created humanity to have a close relationship with Him. He created a perfect world for us to live in, but our relationship with God was wrecked when humanity opted to defy God. Salvation puts us back in right relationship with God. Salvation is a simple process: If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9 NRSV)
Membership
Membership is an important step of commitment in a believer’s life. Membership means being committed to a growing relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ, building a strong community where we love one another and living a life of service in the church and in the world.
