Family Fun Day

Join us on Saturday, August 2 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM right here on the Fairfield campus for Family Fun Day! We’re bringing the fun, the fellowship, and yes — kickball is back! Whether you plan to play or just cheer on the sidelines, we invite you to bring your picnic baskets, or enjoy delicious hamburgers and hot dogs that will be available on-site. Don’t forget your tents, lawn chairs, and most importantly, your joyful spirit. 
If you’re interested in playing kickball, click the buttons below to sign-up for kickball and help us build out our teams. We’re also looking for volunteers to help with set-up, games, clean-up, and other key areas. Please sign up — your support will make this event even more meaningful. Additionally, limited vending spaces are available for FBC’s entrepreneurs. We can't wait to see you!

Homecoming Celebration

join us on Sunday, August 3, at 9:30 AM as we gather for a powerful time of worship and celebration. Wear your royal blue as we honor 140 years of Kingdom Building:
Elevated by Grace, Anchored in Truth.
 
Our 140th Church Anniversary Reunion Choir will bless us in song, and Pastor Vickers will deliver a special celebration message. We will also partake in both Baptism and Communion, welcome special guests from Redan Elementary School, and close our service with a special Back-to-School Prayer for our students, educators, and school personnel.  
Do not forget our victory lap campaign. Bring your sacrificial offering to eliminate our mortgage. We encourage all of our Fairfield family — near and far — to worship with us in person. Invite a friend, bring a neighbor, and come early, as parking and seating adjustments may be necessary. We can’t wait to see you — let’s celebrate together!

Back to School Prayer

It’s that time of year — the school bell is ringing again! As we prepare to step into a new academic season, we invite all students, educators, administrators, support staff, and school officials — no matter your age or role — to meet us at the altar during our Homecoming Service, Sunday, August 3, for a special Back to School Prayer. Let’s cover this school year in prayer, purpose, and power! Come expectant. Come ready. Let’s start this school year strong — together in faith!

Seasoned Saints Dinner

There’s still time to join the Seasoned Saints Ministry for Homecoming dinner, Sunday, August 3, 12 PM, at the Magnolia Room Cafeteria. A private room has been reserved for Fairfield members however you must register in advance.  Limited transportation is available. Stop by the kiosk for details and to sign up at the kiosk on Sunday.

NXTGEN Youth Experience

The NXTGEN Youth Service is back and kicking off the school year in a big way! Join us on Sunday, August 10 for our Back to School Kick-Off Youth Experience at Fairfield Baptist Church. This dynamic service is designed for all youth — from potty-trained children to high school seniors — and will be filled with age-appropriate worship, teaching, fun activities. Parents, we’re asking that you please register your children as soon as possible so we can prepare to welcome them well. Let’s send our youth into the school year empowered, encouraged, and spiritually equipped!

2026 Calendar Planning

2025 has been a great year, and as we reach the halfway point, we’re already looking ahead! All ministries are asked to submit their 2026 ministry calendars by September 1, 2025. Please coordinate your calendar requests with your assigned minister or ministry leader for submission. The form can be found on the Forms and Resources page of our website. Let’s continue planning with excellence as we move forward together!
