National Baptist Convention of America International, Inc.

The National Baptist Convention of America, Incorporated (NBCA), is a fellowship of voluntary churches approximating three and half million African-American Baptists whose initial roots stemmed from the organization of the Foreign Mission Baptist Convention of the United States.
 
The focus of the NBCA, since its inception and prior to its incorporation status, has been upon education, missions (home and abroad) and the publication and circulation of religious literature.
 
The NBCA ministries as the convention has committed itself to the implementation Christ’s Great Commission beyond the confines of the local churches to the community where children of the family of God reside.

Volunteer Checklist for the National Baptist Convention

As we prepare to host the 144th Annual Session of the National Baptist Convention of America, International, here's what you need to know and bring to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience:

  • Volunteers should park in the designated lot between the C.L. Nall Chapel and the Zack Brown Administrative and Educational Center.
  • Volunteers should sign in daily in the administration suite.
  • Greet our guests with a warm smile and a pleasant, welcoming attitude. Your positivity will set the tone for their visit!
  • Wear comfortable, supportive shoes as you may be standing or walking for extended periods.
  • Dress in your FairWear or comfortable, modest clothing suitable for welcoming guests.
  • Bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the day.
  • Food trucks will be available onsite for you to purchase food.
  • Be prepared for outdoor conditions; consider bringing sunscreen, a hat, or an umbrella if needed.
  • Wear your volunteer badge at all times for identification.
