As we culminate this historic milestone on Homecoming Sunday, August 3, we’re bringing together voices from every era to raise a powerful sound of praise and thanksgiving.

This is more than a performance — it’s a homecoming, a family reunion, and a time to reflect on the powerful role music has played in our worship and witness throughout the years.

We officially launched our 140th Church Anniversary Celebration with a powerful worship experience that included the ordination of our newest Deacons and Deaconess. Their commitment to servant leadership marks a historic moment in the life of our Diakonos Ministry.

In heartfelt reverence, we paused to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. This moment of reflection reminded us of the freedom we enjoy and the ultimate sacrifice paid by so many.

We came to the Lord’s table and witnessed the sacred act of baptism—symbols of faith that remain central to our church’s identity. We also shared glimpses of what’s ahead, stirring excitement for our August 3rd Homecoming Celebration.

Though technical difficulties delayed our video, we lifted up the often-unseen ministries that keep Fairfield running strong. Celebrating Pentecost, we honored the Holy Spirit’s work and the birth of the global church. The Hidden Figures tribute video later aired on June 22.

We honored the fathers of Fairfield and recognized the growth of our youth ministries—from the foundations laid by previous generations to today’s dynamic NXTGEN Youth Ministry. A celebration of legacy and leadership.

We journeyed through the early years of Fairfield’s history, from its 1885 founding through 1976. Paired with world events of the time, we reflected on how Fairfield continued to shine as a light in the community

We celebrated our 2025 graduates and scholars in the Michael Benton Academic Excellence Program. Their achievements reflect the importance Fairfield places on education and excellence in every generation.

This sacred tradition reminded us of God’s covenant and Fairfield’s spiritual foundation. Baptism and communion continue to be milestones in the faith journey of our members, shaping lives across generations.

We spotlighted the ministries that teach, preach, and intercede—our Associate Ministers, Sunday School, and Prayer Ministry. It was also a time to honor and re-certify some of our licensed and ordained leaders.

We will come together to recognize the many ministries that extend the arms of Jesus beyond the pulpit. Join us as we celebrate those who serve selflessly in love, mission, and action.

We will lift up the mighty men of Fairfield and their contributions to ministry, leadership, and faith. We'll also continue our journey through Fairfield’s history, focusing on pivotal moments from 1977 through 2021.
