Information on Fairfield’s Activity with the COVID-19 Pandemic
Welcome Back!
We are “Launching Out” in 2022. After much prayer and planning, we are prepared to resume worshiping in the Son’s House, and we hope you will join us.
We are continuously monitoring the information presented by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). With the information that is presently available regarding the virus. Registration for our in-person worship service is no longer required. Please review the information below on what to expect while worshipping in-person.
To attend service:
1. Temperature checks are no longer required. Due to safety issues, if you have a temperature over the recommended limit (100.4), we will ask that you return home and enjoy the service virtually.
2. You must wear a mask (KN95 preferably) for the duration of the service.
3. You should remain socially distanced. Seats are marked for your convenience.
We invite you to worship with us on Sundays at 9:30 AM EST.
Here’s what’s happening:
- Worship Services will continue to be held each Sunday at 9:30 AM EST in-person and online. Online services can be viewed here, Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter.
- Online Giving is available to receive your tithes and offering. Click here to access our giving page
- Sunday School classes are held at 8:00 AM in the Zack Brown Administrative and Educational Center and via Zoom.
- The church office will be available virtually to assist you, please call 770-482-7660 or email info@fairfieldbc.org
- The team of the month is available to meet your spiritual needs, please call the church at 770-482-7660 and follow the prompts.
- Join us Monday at 7:00 PM EST via teleconferencing for prayer. Dial 540-792-0100 Access code: 432669#
- Our Wednesday Bible Study, A Whole Word with Pastor Eric George Vickers, Sr., meets online each week at 12:00 PM & 7:00 PM EST.
Ask yourself the following questions before returning to the Son’s House:
- Are you experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19? The symptoms are: cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing or at least two of these symptoms: fever, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell.
- Within the last 14 days, have you been in close physical contact (six feet or closer) with a person you know have laboratory-confirmed COVID-19?
- In the last 14 days, have you received instructions from a health care authority to self-observe, self-isolate, or self quarantine?
If you answered YES to ANY of these questions, please continue to worship with us virtually.
If you answered NO, please feel free to join us on Sunday morning at 9:30 AM in the Son’s House.
Social Distancing Seating
The pews in the Son’s House have been marked for safe seating with social distancing guidelines. Worshipers will sit 6 feet apart. We ask that families sit together during the worship service. Exiting will be done by section and row to maintain social distancing.
